Firefly and Ladybug waiting their turns for tests yesterday. Too tired and weak to go anywhere. The good news is that though their numbers were low, they were nowhere near as low as Bumblebee's were. They spent the afternoon in Cricket's stall (who never stopped eating) and then all three came home with me. Cricket, though worse off than these two, was also not as sick as Bumblebee.

Bumblebee says Um, I feel pretty good thanks.

  1. That's a beautiful shot of the two of them looking down the aisleway. Glad Bumblebee is looking so much brighter :-D.

  2. They look so tiny. I just want to hug them. I'm sure that would have sent them over the edge...

  3. This whole concept of weaning babies too early makes me crazy. It used to be that no one would wean a foal before 6 months, now its 3-4 months. It's a shame to see it spreading to lambs and goats. It sure is hard on them. I'm glad you are getting these little guys sorted out. Good luck with them.

  4. Good golly, what you have been through with this bunch. Heck, what THEY have been through. It's a rough transition period but I'm betting all will be well before long. Hang in there.
