Alive and well

The babies seem to be doing well.

Warm steamy tongues inside their tiny mouths, even on the coldest days. That tip alone set my mind at ease this week. Thank you Sara.

I'm on the run at work at the moment. With that and the lambs, there's not much time to blog. Oh, and the thirteen-year-old continues to insist on groceries and attention. Sheesh.

Thankfully, there's a three day weekend coming up and miraculously warm weather to boot. So maybe there will be more photos soon.

In the meantime, we need some names - one boy and one girl.

  1. I might have to sneak down and steal some lamb snorgles! Too cute :-D.

    1. Oh, you are always welcome to come snorgle the lambs. (U, is that a verb?) What's a three hour drive when lambs are involved?

  2. Okay, I'll admit to being partial to black animals (does that call for any time on a analyst's couch?) but those babies are adorable! I got into the habit of using the names of herbs to name our goat kids (back when we had goats). I ran out of goats long before I ran out of names on the list! Some of the more "feminine" names I can think of: Sweet Marjoram (Sweet Margie), Caraway (Carrie), Poppy, Sassafras (Sassy), Rosemary, Tarragon (Terry), Ginger, Nutmeg (Nutty), etc. Buck or whether names: Peppercorn (Peppy or Corny), Parsley, Chives, Fennel (Fenn), Oregano (Orrie), Dill (Dilly), Paprika (Pappy), Basil. Looking at lists of the more uncommon herbs, you can come up with an endless list. Just a thought. :o)

    1. Herbs is a great theme. So good, we used it for the ponies a few years back. Doesn't seem right to cross species though. Hmmm.
