Fiber cat two

I borrowed some equipment from the local weavers guild. Allie had to check it out.







She preferred the little loom over the drum carder with all the pointy ends.

    I have a bizarre question....could you spin her fur? We have a Rag Doll Maine coon cross and her fur is four inches long on her sides and we clip her in summer to keep her cooler. [Not her happier moments!] The fur is soft and fine and I am always curious as to it being useful?

      I'm sure you could. I'm actually collecting the fur of our orange tabby cat to spin right now, just because I love the color.
